The Stiltwalker (スィティレワケロ Sitirewarekero?) is an Ethereal that appears in the world of Notre Dame. Summoned by Hellius Shadoe from behind Frollo's back by influencing the judge's darkness while he, Frollo, and Phoebus watch the Feast of Fools, it freezes time and challenges the members of La Lutte, the Nobodies wishing to protect the innocent townspeople. After the creature's defeat, time unfroze, everyone confused. Frollo, however, saw the beast's destruction and the damage it had caused, blaming it all on the Gypsies. Little did the Judge know that Hellius had used the Ethereal for the goal of destroying Notre Dame. Frollo would later go on to burn all of Paris blinded by a great rage, unknowingly to Hellius's wishes, these Ethereal becoming more and more common. They have great amounts of HP, utilizing Ice, Fire, Lightning, and Wind in battle, as well as a series of powerful melee attacks and a laser.
Journal Entry
- STILTWALKER
A large Ethereal that appeared in Notre Dame. Dodge its flailing limbs, learn its secret strategy, and you can earn many rare prizes. Your chance to attack is when it becomes dazed via Guard Ability. Be careful around the Stiltwalker when it is active. Any move could be your last!
Story
The Stiltwalker is summoned by Hellius to serve as "entertainment" for Frollo during the Feast of Fools, but it was defeated by La Lutte. After catching Quasimodo after he snuck into the Festival, Frollo brought the boy before the beast so his heart could be destroyed. The beast collapsed, however, Frollo instead choosing to torture the boy by another means. He allowed the townspeople to tie him down and mock his horrid appearance, later locking the boy away in the Bell Tower.
Strategy
Begin the battle by immediately locking onto any one of the Stiltwalker's flailing limbs. Attack if possible, but be careful that you are not kicked or slapped by an arm. Damage received from this minor attack is doubled when an arm or leg shines with its element. Continue attacking until a Limb's HP hits 0. Then, attack the head and torso as many times as possible before the limb regains health and the process repeats.
Eventually, as the Stiltwalker's HP begins to deminish, it will gain a series of Desperation Attacks that are described below. Each attack has a tendency to deal great amounts of damage, so use extreme caution!

Trivia
- In original concept, the Stiltwalker was salmon and orange-red in coloration. This was changed to keep up with the blue/white/gray theme that existed for Ethereals.
