This article, Nezi Toxic, is the creative property of GokaiWhite.
Nezi Green is an auxiliary Neziranger created by Biznella and Lord Drakkon.
Profile[]
Appearance[]
His Ranger form is identical to Nezi Silver’s, aside from color scheme. Once he is immersed in toxic ooze, Nezi Green becomes Nezi Toxic (ネジトキシック Neji Tokishikku), a snapping turtle-like monster covered in metal spikes and dripping acidic green slime from his mouth.
Personality[]
Nezi Green is jealous, boastful, confrontational, and highly aggressive with his creators as well as their mutual enemies. He seemed to have a vain, bitter, and resentful mindset towards the Administration, being aware of the irony that Lord Stark hates all Rangers, both good and evil, yet has some of the worst ones as his subordinates. Upon his rebirth as Nezi Toxic, his vanity and arrogance gave way to sheer sadism and moral nihilism.
History[]
Before Biznella was killed by Nakia, he and Drakkon created Nezi Green to accompany a revived Guireil on his own mission. While Guireil is dealt with by Ant Man and Wasp, the Guardians of the Galaxy had a rough time fighting Nezi Green until Drax was able to knock him into a vat of toxic waste. After the heroes leave the area, Nezi Green came out mutated into a monstrous humanoid turtle who runs amok until he is retrieved by the Administration.[1]
Nezi Toxic goes with the Iron Man Mk. 34 to fight the Fivemen, and would have destroyed them if the Shin Avengers had not intervened. Together, the Shin Avengers and Fivemen destroy Nezi Toxic by exploiting his weakness to saltwater.[2]
Trivia[]
- Much like Go Metal, he is an American-exclusive Ranger reverse-adapted into Super Sentai canon, but his monster form is an original fan creation inspired partly by TMNT and their crossover comic with MMPR.
- Psycho Green’s monster form is some sort of green demon overflowing with energy that doesn’t really match the other Psycho’s or the Neziranger’s monster forms, hence the new monster form.
- He is the second BOOM! Comics original character to appear in Marvel VS Super Sentai, albeit adapted whereas Drakkon simply crossed over from his original source material to Earth-199999(S).
- His monster form is inspired by Tokka (who originated in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: Secret of the Ooze), owing primarily to the widely ridiculed crossover episode "Shell Shocked", where the Megarangers' counterparts met the Ninja Turtles.
- His Japanese voice actor also played Raphael in the 2012 series and Leonardo in the 2014/6 movies.[3]
- He is the only Neziranger not to naturally have a monster form: He gains it at the end of the Megaranger tribute chapter.
- He’s also the only one never to grow giant or fight in the Battle of Starktopia 01.
- He and Shaddam are the only Sentai Legacy Villains to function as monster of the week in more than one episode. Abrella and Silva do not count there because they become regularly recurring villains in Marvel vs Super Sentai.
- His battle with the Fivemen and nearly defeating them alludes to Psycho Green destroying the Fivemen's counterparts in the comics, and in fact formerly being one of them. [4]
- Scott McNeil brings back his Piccolo and Dinobot voices for Nezi Green and Toxic respectively.
