The Midnight Syndicate (真夜中のシンジケート, Mayonaka no Shinjikēto) is a group of various Nobodies, whose original goal was to destroy Kingdom Hearts under the theory that if Kingdom Hearts is destroyed, then all life in the universe will become Nobodies--over which the Syndicate will rule.

However, over the course of time, some of the various members have decided on their own agenda -- sometimes in line with the group's goal, sometimes counter to it.

Recently, half of the Syndicate has turned traitor, led by Thraxganb, thus beginning the Syndicate Civil War. More information on this as it develops.

History

Not much is known about the history of the Midnight Syndicate, except that it was formed by Xolduc and Telmuci'ixa. Telmuci'ixa resurrected Xemnas, Saïx, Zexion and Marluxia. The remaining members were recruited over several years.

It has been revealed that the Syndicate is essentially a terrorist organization of unparalleled ferocity and power within the Nightverse, and are fought only by Damage, Inc..

Chronology of recruitment

The Syndicate has never exceeded twelve members. Normally, since Nexko was the seventh to join, he would've been Number VII, but because Xolduc found him before encountering Telmuci'ixa, Nexko was given Number II. Other than that, the number is the order in which they joined. Roxian is Number VIII because she took the empty slot from Noxel's death.

Long-Term

1. Destroy Kingdom Hearts, thus turning all life-forms with Hearts into Nobodies.
2. Take over and rule the aforementioned "Nobody Universe".
3. Destroy all traitors.

1. Eliminate all Keybearers.
2. Eliminate Maleficent and her minions.
3. Eliminate Disney Castle.

Singular

Xolduc

1. Absorb the tremendous energies released upon the destruction of Kingdom Hearts, therefore becoming God.
2. Use his newfound divine power to create a universe of total freedom from law and restraint -- pure anarchy, the ultimate liberty.
3. Destroy anyone who stands in his way (to be achieved in the course of the first two).

Nexko

1. Find and destroy the members with agendas that contridict those of the Midnight Syndicate.
2. Gain access to every reality of the Multiverse, and then take control of each one in the name of the Syndicate.
3. Create a lesser Nobody army for Xolduc to control.
4. Find an excuse to kill Xertra.

Telmuci'ixa

1. Achieve absolute Time Compression and truly become Empress of Eternity
2. Annihilate all who would dare to oppose her.
3. Become a powerful government member in Xolduc's new Cosmic Order.

Xemnas

1. Gain vengeance upon all Keybearers.
2. Attempt to avoid being killed by Xolduc.
3. Retake the World That Never Was after Xolduc has achieved cosmic dominance.
4. Become powerful enough that no non-member of the Syndicate can destroy him.

Zexion

1. Survive.
2. Write a book on the subject of illusion, which would itself be an illusion.
3. Prove that cunning and illusion can overcome brute force under any circumstances.
4. If the Syndicate should undergo a civil war, ally with whichever side seems most likely to win.

Saix

1. Go on rampant killing sprees.
2. Obey Xemnas and Xolduc.
3. Destroy any that oppose the Syndicate.

Marluxia

1. Stay alive, no matter the cost.
2. Kill Xemnas at some point or another.
3. If the Syndicate undergoes a civil war, join with Thraxganb and the "good guys".
4. Resurrect Larxene and re-replicate Xion.

Roxian

1. Destroy those who ruined her life.
2. When possible, avoid bloodshed.
3. When not, make it painless.
4. If forced to choose a side, then join the side that would most readily protect the innocent.

Zolgbex

1. Accomplish all missions assigned by superiors.
2. Do whatever is necessary to aid his brother, Cecil Harvey.
3. Destroy all enemies.

Xertra

1. Get laid... repeatedly.
2. Find someone who sees her as more than an annoyance, tool, or toy.
3. Avenge her first lover, Locke Cole.

Juxak

1. Become the greatest poet in all of existence.
2. Annihilate those whom he finds offensive (Xertra and Xemnas are exempt due to Syndicate protection)
3. Become a high-ranking member of Xolduc's new Cosmic Order.

Thraxganb

1. Annihilate all enemies.
2. Eventually be with Clare.
3. To accomplish the previous goal, begin a civil war within the Syndicate, eventually destroying Xolduc and joining up with Damage, Inc.
