Light Through Darkness is another story in the Kingdom Hearts series. After Sora, Kairi, and Riku have aged by 60 years the worlds started to disappear again. A horrible war is going on and the worlds that are caught in between either becomes dictated or destroyed. An Gang named The 14 X's is the cause of all the mess that is going on. They were made up of the most powerful beings in the universe. Although, one thing stood in the way of them becoming all power full gods. They needed immortality. To achieve this they had to summon Kingdom Hearts.
The theme song for the game is "Reverse Rainbow" (Japanese version: "Sakasama Reinbo/ 逆さまレインボ") performed by Hatsune Miku & Kagamine Rin (Vocaloid).

Light Through Darkness takes places about 60 years after the events in Kingdom Hearts II Following a girl named Kaila who has been choosen for a great and powerful job along with 5 others. The Kingdom Hearts Universe is under attack by a terrible gang made up of former assassins who've created a group called the 14 X's. They seek immortality and need Kingdom Hearts to get it. They won't let anything get and the way of their wish. That were 6 warriors of the Ying and Yang come in and try to stop the 14 X's from knocking the balance out.

7 years ago two children were playing near a forbidden area of their small quite town. Then, one of the children noticed 13 foggy figures appeared from a distance. "Look!" she said being sure not to let the figures notice she and her friend were there. They hid in a safe place away from them and then watched in horror.
