Game Mechanics

Gameplay Elements

Kingdom Hearts: Reloaded does not adopt the scenario system of Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep as the game is designed to follow the initial story of Houka (although at key points the player can control Heira). but several other elements however have been implemented from Birth by Sleep into Kingdom Hearts: Reloaded such as D-Links, Deck Commands, Shotlocks, and Command Styles as well as the Command Board.

Multiplayer Mode

Kingdom Hearts: Reloaded also has a multiplayer mode. This multiplayer mode is known as Coliseum Mode respectively and have the in-game characteristics of Olympus Coliseum. In Coliseum Mode, players can choose from over twenty characters to use in Vs. Fights which can be 1 on 1, 2 on 2, or even 1 on 1 on 1 on 1. There is also a Tournament Mode in which the user may select any character and proceed through a tournament within the Olympus Coliseum and the Underworld (as long as the tournament has been completed in the game's Story Mode.) there is also an Online Mode where players can battle characters online as well. Fights in online mode can have as many as ten players at once and be either versus matches or team matches.
