Humsin is the secondary antagonist in the 1997 TV series Tabaluga. According to Tabaluga's biography, he has to stop Humsin from creating a searing desert as well as Arktos from creating a frozen wasteland. Humsin is an anthropomorphic whirlwind of sand and he is very similar to Arktos. His goal is to turn Greenland into a forbidden desert. He has a chameleon named Kayo as his henchman for combat, but Kayo can be dimwitted. Humsin makes his first appearance in the episode of the same name. Humsin's other workers are Hyena, Ostrich, lizards, camels, desert mice, and Vultur. His archenemy in the series is Arktos, because both of Tabaluga's enemies debate on what element they should add.

New Invader in GreenlandEdit

Even though the reign of Arktos had ended, the peace over Greenland is not completely restored. Humsin arrived in Greenland as a new invader an planning to spread the plan to the environment. He convinced Tabaluga for thanking him as a new resident. Humsin talked to Tabaluga that he is about to turn Greenland into a desert. Humsin ordered his workers for more sand on Greenland.

Later life and death

Humsin made his last appearance in the episode, The Sands of Doom. Humsin fell to his death by falling off a waterfall and the elemental died. It occurred when Tabaluga is in a confrontation with Humsin after restoring Greenland. Humsin fell into a river, leading to a waterfall and fell to his death. Tabaluga asked Humsin if he is still alive, but no answer was heard. Humsin has now fallen to his death. His worker Kayo is forced to work for Arktos. It is unknown whether or not his workers Ostrich or Hyena survived in the episode, Majority Rules.

Villainouss Deeds

◾ Humsin tricked Tabaluga and his friends thinking that there is a unique place. However, it is revealed that it is a mirage. This causes them to suffer, because of no air. This appears in the episode, "Digby the Hero".

◾ Humsin plans to capture a number of lizards as his workers to make his latest weapon. This is considered villainous slaving. This appears in the episode, The Lost Dragon.

◾ Humsin started to attack all the babies from their newborn mothers in the desert after hearing all the crying noises by using his windy breath. He started to abandon all of them. This appears in the episode, My Baby.

◾ Humsin used the Flute of Hypnosis and tells any wielder near him to do anything under his command. He hypnotized Shouhou and Rubin to capture Tabaluga and followed Humsin's command until the real flute was switched to a fake one. This appears in the episode, "Thunderbird".
