Hardcrabble is the character from Monsters University. In KH: ITHOTCR, she may be very strict Dean in the University. First of all, she instructs the 5 Keyblade Warriors that they may pass or fail the test. She instructs Lumina to be very strict teacher whereas Fulmen in monster form seems to be the scariest. The two Keyblade Masters.

Another incident is due to time compression and distortion where Hardscrabble, Calhoun and Queen Elinor are complaining to each other, Lumina stops them from arguing. She tells the women to find the situation of the Heartless

The climax of the anticlimactic scene where Hardscrabble sacrifices herself to prevent Fulmen's comrades from being eaten by Cybug's new evil entity created by Lady Xehanort, both of her body and soul are eaten alive, making Calhoun scream in fear and shoot the evil entity of what Lady Xehanort summoned from Cy-Bug universe (this is reminiscent of what Calhoun lost her lover, to shoot evil bug). Calhoun warns of five Keyblade Warriors to defeat the evil entity what has done evil to this world.

Sanguia seems to weep and mourn the loss of her but Calhoun tells her and Keyblade Warriors to see Ralph.

After the battle, 5 Keyblade warriors see the memorial statue of Hardscrabble in Monster's university, meaning "We will never, ever, ever, ever forget you." Present are Auriel, Queen Elinor, Ralph, Sgt. Calhoun, Vanellope.

In Lumina's dream where she sees Dean Hardscrabble as she is still alive in the spiritual realm, she says "From now on, you will lead the university not just with our world but your worlds as well. I may not be around anymore but my legacy will live on for all of eternity in you and your comrades' hearts. Please, take my essence towards your keyblade."

In Keyblade Warriors' dream where soul and spirit of Hardscrabble, along with Eraqus, tells them to deal with obstacles to defeat the Lady Xehanort.
