The first Gummi Ship.

The Gummi Ship is the main method of transportation between worlds in the Kingdom Hearts: Awakening story. Several characters, including Allen and Ceodore, as well as enemies like Magneto use Gummi Ships to move between Worlds. These ships are made entirely of Gummi Blocks, made of special Gummi material that allows to travel between Worlds.

Story

Gummi Ships are a universal method of interplanetary transportation all over the universe.

A Gummi Ship was first made by the genius Magneto. His home world was destroyed by rogue meteors, and on an asteroid he called home afterward, he found that these asteroids are very useful for space travel. Upon using his powers to manipulate them to his use, they have been in use ever since.

Gameplay

In Kingdom Hearts: Awakening, Gummi Ships can be used for travel between planets when one is accesible by the player. A path is usually made for one to get to the next part of the story, but they can also be used to double back for sidequests and explore planets that are not needed in the story.
