Falcon is a weapon wielded by Galexgan in the series Kingdom Hearts: Child of the Sun. It is Galexgan's primary weapon, as well as being his first. Falcon can be upgraded to Falcon + and then further upgraded to Falcon ++.

Design

Falcon is a polearm with black and gold desings to it. The end of the staff is plain, being a simple black pole with no special adornments. The blade is simple in design, it has an hourglass figure with the edges plated in gold increasing in amount covering the blade the further towards the pole that you go. The weapon's only other adornment than the blade itself is a golden guard shaped like an outstretched wing seperating the blade and pole. Falcon is weilded during Kingdom Hearts: Child of the Sun's Prologue of the story.

Falcon + changes in design drastically compared to it's weaker version. The staff gains an adornment at the end that resembles the "splintered heart" portion of the Nobody's symbol, it takes the iconic color of the Nobody's as well, being colored gray. The blade reforged into two-prongs of pure gold, the blades however keep the hourglass shape of it's previous version on the outside edges. The guard is change to that of being silver and red, the golden wing is kept but it is now folded in. Falcon + is weilded during Kingdom Hearts: Child of the Sun's Part 1.

Falcon ++ further changes from both designs. The pole is now split into two colors, black on the tope and red on the bottom. A small handle of black leather is wrapped around near the end of the staff to help keep a grip on the normally slick pole. A lion's claw now takes the place of the "splintered heart" portion of it's previous design and holds a small dark purple orb by the nails. The blade becomes one sided, no longer having a double edge. Part of the upper portion of the blade is colored black and the blade itself now incorperates part of the winged part of the guard. The guard is almost non-existent now, having only a small portion of silver left.

Properties

Galexgan can summon his weapon on command as many of the previous Organization members could. Galexgan did not have the skill to do so before he became a Nobody however. With each upgrade of the weapon it gives Galexgan more skills. Falcon gives the ability Sunburn to Galexgan. Falcon + adds the ability Solar Charge. Falcon ++ upgrades both abilities, Sunburn to SunScorch, and Solar Charge to Nuclear Charge.
