Edith Gru is a character in Speedy Hearts who was originally from Despicable Me and it's two sequels.

Plot

She was excited when she saw Sonic and his friends land in front of them. Edith introduced herself along with the rest of her family. She likes Snowball and Daisy because of their fighting skills. And she teases Sonic about him being in love with Amy. Edith also knows that Sonic and his friends are from another world. And she wishes to travel to other worlds. She alongside her family and the minions travel to Corona and meet Rapunzel, Eugene, Pascal and Maximus. They also travel to The Caribbean where they wear pirate clothes and others like that and Edith gets excited (Edith wears a ninja suit with a skull symbol on her shirt).

Snowball (Ship name: Snowdith)

Edith takes a liking to Snowball when she sees his fighting skills. Edith shakes Snowball's paw when they introduced themselves to them. She gives him a thumbs up when he took out the Red Titan. She said that Snowball was like a brother to her.

Daisy (Ship name: Daisith)

Like with Snowball, Edith also takes interest in Daisy. Unlike Snowball, Daisy doesn't approve of Edith using weapons or doing dangerous stunts for that matter. But no matter what, they stay friends.

Sora (Ship name: Soredith)

"I think Sora may be my biggest inspiration now."

Edith admires Sora and thinks of him as her brother. And Sora tries to protect Edith from any danger. Sora once asked her what's wrong with romance, Edith replies to him by saying it's disgusting. Sora then said for her, but for him, it's good. Like Daisy and unlike Snowball, Sora doesn't approve of her doing anything dangerous. She comforts him when she witnesses him crying about Elsa and Olaf's deaths. She also defends Sora alongside Sonic, Classie, Agnes and Jack when he gets insulted by Salazar.

Jaden

Edith asks what music does he like and he says electronic dance music and he suggest that she should listen to it. She says she likes it (Even calling Dubstep heavy music, Drumstep/DnB running music, Hardstyle/Psytrance/Speedcore jumpy music, Trap slow music and Electro bouncy music) and gives Jaden a fist-bump. Edith felt sorry for Jaden's loss when Cookie Monsta passed away. Like Snowball and unlike Daisy and Sora, he doesn't care if she uses weapons.

Liam

Not much between Liam and Edith, but like Daisy and Sora and unlike Snowball and Jaden, he criticizes her doing dangerous things. Liam also questions Edith's hate for romance. Liam also calls Edith blondie. They fist-bump sometimes.

Eugene

Like with Sora, Edith admires Eugene's courage. Eugene also questions Edith's hate for romance. Like Daisy, Liam and Sora and unlike Snowball and Jaden, he disapproves of Edith using weapons. Eugene also compares her to Rapunzel.

Dash (Ship name: Edash)

Dash seems to like Edith for some reason and he says it because of her looks. Edith gets creeped out by the fact that Dash tries to hang out with her. She also calls him a savage, due to him talking with his mouth full. Like Snowball and Jaden, he think Edith using weapons are cool.

Henry Turner

"Don't worry, Henry! We'll help you free this Will Turner guy!"

Edith and Henry are mates as in friends. Edith and Sonic's friends helped him look for Jack Sparrow. She leans against him when she said that the British Navy was no match for them and Henry doesn't mind. Edith also assists him in trying to free his father.
