The Black Dragonzord is Lord Drakkon's enforcer and bodyguard.

Story

This evil Zord was mysteriously rebuilt before going with its master to Starktopia 01, where they joined forces with the Stark Administration.

Black Dragonzord tried to kill Ant Man and the Wasp during their mission to rescue Ava Starr, but fails.

It was modified to grow giant so it can join Dora Telos in attacking Los Angeles, where they fought Wolverine and the Hulk. Black Dragonzord was forced to retreat after sustaining heavy damage from the heroes, who also managed to destroy Dora Telos.

In the Battle of Starktopia 01, Black Dragonzord joined the giant Nezirangers and Iron Man Mk.2-7, and the Giant Legionites in laying waste to the city and fighting the Megazord Army. The evil Zord fought Dragon Caesar, Won Tiger, Tsubasamaru, Red Puncher, and Blastasaur Brachio before being destroyed by them.

• Owing to its resemblance to EVAs, a Stark Administration supporter called it "the mutant-r***** love child of Evangelion and Godzilla" before being incinerated by Lord Stark.
• "Black Dragonzord" was coined as its new name to make it more of an evil parallel to the original Dragonzord.
• Its english voice actor already voiced a handful of monsters from the Saban Era seasons of Power Rangers, while Kenta Miyake does its japanese voice in a style reminiscent of the late Daisuke Gori dubbing for Lord Zedd in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie.
• The Black Dragonzord appropriately meets its demise by the combined forces of Zords that were piloted by the mainstream Tommy Oliver.
