Auron is a 19 year old former-guardian that is from the world of Spira. His world was engulfed in darkness, and he had no choice but to stay in Hollow Bastion.
History[]
Auron lived in between Dream Zanarkand and Spira. He had nightmares about either Sin destroying everyone, or heartless, which were unknown creatures to him. When the heartless from his dreams attacked Spira, he left and went to Hollow Bastion, only to have amnesia and not remembering anything about his past. He didn't bother talking to anyone, but, he was always attacked by the heartless randomly. When Auron decided to travel to Traverse Town, he ran into a Large Belly-Heartless, attacked and knocked unconscious for at least 4 days straight. Auron awoke to meet Leon, Cid, and Yuffie. Cid told Auron that he wouldn've been "heartless food" if they hadn't found him. But, for some reason, Auron started to remember everything about his past.He left in the middle of the night, the pain in his forehead going away just a bit.
Dream-eaters[]
One year later, a 20 year old Auron is still living in Hollow-Bastion, where the heartless are still lurking around, but don't bother him anymore.
When he was walking back to his home during a rainy night, creatures called dream eaters surrounded him. He finished them off easily with one of his kantanas. But, one dream eater called an Aura Lion seemed to befriend him. It led him through a tunnel in an alleyway, and Auron was brought to Yen Sid and King-Mickey. Auron told them that he was from Spira, and he was attacked by heartless most of the time before he gained his memories back. Yen Sid knew something was wrong, so he asked Auron to find the keyhole to get to Castle Oblivion.
